Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Syllo handles information when a creator, company administrator, or learner uses the Syllo app on Whop. Syllo is an independent app and is not Whop itself. Whop's own privacy terms also apply to information Whop processes.

Information we process

  • Whop account and access data: Whop user, company, experience, product, membership, and access identifiers needed to authenticate you and enforce permissions.
  • Creator content: course briefs, outlines, lessons, assessments, prompts, research choices, files, images, settings, and exports.
  • Learner activity: enrollment, lesson progress, quiz attempts, completion, bookmarks, highlights, reviews, and certificates when Syllo learning features are enabled.
  • Commerce events: plan, payment, refund, dispute, and membership status sent by Whop. We do not receive or store full payment-card details.
  • Technical and usage data: app events, generation status, model usage, error details, and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.

Why we use it

We use the information above to authenticate users; create, edit, export, and publish courses; run requested AI and research features; save learner state; manage subscriptions and credits; prevent abuse; troubleshoot failures; and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use creator course content to advertise to unrelated users.

Service providers and transfers

We share only the information needed with infrastructure and service providers that help run Syllo, including Whop for identity, access, publishing, and payments; database and storage providers; hosting and monitoring providers; and the AI or research provider selected by the service. AI prompts may contain the course material and direction you submit. Providers may process data in countries other than your own and are engaged subject to contractual and security obligations.

Retention and deletion

We keep data while it is needed to provide Syllo, satisfy a valid legal or accounting obligation, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion through the in-app Settings page or Support. We delete or de-identify copies no later than 30 days after an applicable deletion request, after an app uninstall when we no longer need the data to provide the service, or when the data is otherwise no longer required, except where retention is legally required. Backup copies age out under their normal protected retention cycle.

Deleting creator data may permanently remove Syllo drafts and related learner records. A course already published to a separate Whop Courses experience is controlled in Whop and may need to be removed there as well.

Security

We use access controls, signed Whop authentication, tenant checks, encrypted network transport, restricted server credentials, and operational monitoring. No system is perfectly secure. Please report a suspected vulnerability or privacy incident through Support.

Your choices

You can edit or remove course content, choose whether to use optional research and AI features, manage access through Whop, and request a copy or deletion of your information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will verify a request before acting on it.

Children and changes

Syllo is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or law changes. Material changes will be reflected by the date above and, when appropriate, an in-app notice.

Use the Support action on Syllo's Whop App Store listing or the steps on our Support page. Include “Privacy” in the request and the Whop company or user identifier needed to verify it; do not send passwords, API keys, or payment-card details.
